This charming, self catering, Victorian cottage is quietly situated in Friarscroft Lane in the historic market town of Wymondham, Norfolk, making it ideal for a romantic hideaway. Formerly the barrel store for the Sun public house (now closed) Firkin holiday cottage is cosy, warm and welcoming for a relaxing break at any time of the year. It is well situated for visiting Norfolk and the Cathedral city of Norwich which is near by.

Firkin holiday cottage is centrally heated and sleeps three with enough room in the double bedroom for a travel cot. It is tastefully furnished throughout and comprises of a living room with dining table, under stairs cupboard and a well equipped kitchen. The french doors open out onto a sunny courtyard with garden room situated at the opposite end. Upstairs the cottage has one double bedroom and one single along with the bathroom and WC.

All towels and bedding are provided at Firkin holiday cottage but please bring your own cot linen. Travel cot, highchair and stair gate are available on request. Along with other items which can be hired at an extra cost.

Firkin holiday cottage is strictly No Smoking throughout including the garden room and no pets are allowed.

There is no parking at Firkin holiday cottage but unloading permitted for a short period outside the cottage. On street parking is available nearby or at the main car park off Market Street, a 5 minute walk.
